Like many people in technical fields, I've spent countless hours searching for answers, piecing together solutions from forums, documentation, blog posts, and trial-and-error. When I find something useful, I try to share it here in the hope that it saves someone else a little time and frustration.
My professional background includes utility operations, hydroelectric generation, process improvement, and operational technology. Along the way I've developed a growing passion for automation, software development, and building tools that help people work more efficiently.
One lesson I've learned is that technology alone rarely solves problems. The best solutions come from understanding the people, processes, and operational realities behind the technology. Whether it's a Power App, a workflow, a spreadsheet, or a completely new system, the goal should always be the same: make life easier for the people doing the work.
Outside of work, I enjoy learning, building, and exploring new ideas. I'm particularly interested in knowledge management, process improvement, automation, artificial intelligence, and finding better ways to capture and share operational expertise.
